John 15:9-17
John 15:15-17 (NET) I no longer call you slaves, because the slave does not understand what his master is doing. But I have called you friends, because I have revealed to you everything I heard from my Father.
You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you to go and bear fruit, fruit that remains, so that whatever you ask the Father in my name he will give you.
This I command you – to love one another.
I choose you as My friend not slaves. And appointed you to go and bear fruit. So ask The Father in My Name and He will give you.
First, I command you to love one another.
I rewrote this verse to bold the message. From my reflection, the point is "the called" itself. When we ask our Father, we do that because Jesus called us. We ask that everyone has peace in their life. When they go down, we ask how they can arise immediately. Sometimes we ask our Father, how we can pass our challenges: family's communication, financial freedom, the future of our children, grandchildren, etc. Yea, we have asked that from our humanity. More than that, we called to love one another, so we can unite and encourage one another until everyone reach the finished with happy ending story. When somebody go down, and we can reach them and also encourage them to gain happy ending's story, we bear fruit that remains His love to all of us. That's the good news today. SalamðŸ™ðŸ»
